yea its good

nice and short, but theres a lot of things going on, which is good,
not much melody to talk about, one problem is
a lot, LOT of white noise is being generated by i'm thinking the choir, if you stick around and listen closely, its a heavy amount
try and fix this and you've got a perfect track for short ambience

Actually, the person who wanted me to make this told me to put in a "waterfall" sample that he sent me... aka white noise. So, that is artificially there. Sorry :(

Paradox in time...

Well seeing as how IM still in 2007, ill write my very last 07 review

so lets break this song piece by piece

0:0 to 0:20
excellent guitar/guitar rhythm, very nicely done

0:20 to 1:00
excellent transition, nice fat sounds again, only thing is the seconds b4 the minute its a little akward to listen to, heres why
its out of tune with the initial melody

1:00 to end
probably my least favorite of the song, didnt need the break with the out of tune guitar, the end seems rushed, nothing as good as the beginning, sounds like some sounds just got thrown in

final thoughts:
excellent guitar playing, nice transition at :30, loved the fat sounds of the bass and synth, personally i live for scratch fills, original bassline: everything basically, couldave been without the weird guitar break, after the delayed bass, sounds rushed

i give it a 9/5 9 for some rushing and guitar break

overall : excellent job!

I completely agree with you, even on the negative points. Even though it was submitted last, this was actually the first song I made. It really began as just a test run, but eventually i got it up to a level that I thought was acceptable for NG. Not really my best though. Thanks.

the melody's ok, but the drums are just way too powerful to make the melody sound enjoyable
the woodblock has no place here either, maybe its good as a metronome but not in the song
just bring the snare down some

if you just went up one half-step on your riff, it would sound exactly like the sh:original theme, great stuff though, keep it up!

my only complaint: you've got the talent, use better sounds -- this sounds a little too FL-ish

good stuff, very original, could be used in a game easily-- very flexible genre this makes for

very peaceful

loved the chord progression and the lead, my only thing is it could use a better flute sound, this one makes too much of an abrupt stop, so its very perc-y
the whole thing was absolutely great though, reminded me of a star-wars ambient track, or better yet, the intro to Hitman:BM's theme

the beginning

the bell sound in the beginning does start to drag out just a bit, but the rest of the song is absolutely beautiful, perfect balance with bass and lead, just a bit of distortion when it picks up though, excellent song

is it just me or does the violen at 50 remind you of SIMs2? did to me..

the song was pretty cool, very dan elfman-ish combining dark and peaceful melodies together, i loved the violin sound, great musicianship through the whole song! sounds pro with the piano parts

def. a misc. song, well-deserved 10-5

great sounds!

liked its fat feel, the bass/synth/pads etc.
had a bit of an 80s Axle Foley theme,
but extremely original
nice work on the clavinet, not an easy instrument to sound nice
excellent job!
i took only one star for some piano sounds that sounded a little cheap
